Profilo scientifico e accademico
Dopo la laurea (BA) in Lingua e Letteratura Inglese con una tesi in Semantica lessicale dal titolo Syntactic freezes. Freezes in Dutch (1993), e la laurea specialistica (MA) in Filologia germanica con una tesi dal titolo Bilingual lexicography of Estonian and Dutch and reversible database-building of these languages (1997) presso l'Università di Tartu, nel 1991-1995 frequenta corsi in Studi europei e olandesi (Università di Amsterdam), Lingua e letteratura olandese (Università di Groningen), Lessicografia (Free University of Amsterdam) e Lessicologia (Università di Leiden). Nel 1992-1996 ha contratti di insegnamento e di ricerca in Studi olandesi (Università di Tartu, Università Károli di Budapest), nel 2003-2005 di Lingua estone e di Linguistica comparata estone-ungherese (Università di Szeged e ELTE di Budapest). Nel 2005 ottiene il titolo di Dottore di ricerca (PhD) in Linguistica teorica (Università ELTE di Budapest) con una tesi dal titolo Relations between Estonian verbs, aspect, and case. Nel 2005-2006 ha collaborato con l'Università di Firenze con un modulo integrativo di 15 ore di "Linguistica comparata ungherese, finlandese, estone" nell'ambito del corso di Filologia ugro-finnica (L-LIN/19) della prof. Beatrice Tottossy. Nel 2006-2007 ha collaborato con l'Università di Firenze con un modulo integrativo di 30 ore di "Linguistica comparata ungherese, finlandese, estone" e con un modulo integrativo di 15 ore di "e-Estone, l’estone passivo" nell'ambito del corso di Filologia ugro-finnica (L-LIN/19) della prof. Beatrice Tottossy.


Itinerari di ricerca
I suoi principali interessi di ricerca sono: semantica lessicale, sintassi, lessicografia moderna bilingue, e bilinguismo. Ha partecipato a progetti di ricerca in lessicografia bilingue olandese-estone, e in linguistica teorica ungherese ed estone, e in prosodia e sintassi ungherese.


Academic profile / Research activity and interests
In 1993, Anne Tamm graduated from the University of Tartu in English Language and Literature with a thesis on Lexical Semantics titled Syntactic freezes. Freezes in Dutch. In 1997, she defended her MA thesis Bilingual lexicography of Estonian and Dutch and reversible database-building of these languages in German Philology (University of Tartu). In 1991-1995, she attended courses in Dutch and European Studies (University of Amsterdam), Dutch Language and Literature (University of Groningen), Lexicography (Free University of Amsterdam), and Lexicology (University of Leiden). She completed a two-year post-graduate specialization course obtaining the European Diploma in Lexicography at the Free University of Amsterdam with the thesis Reversible lexical databases: the example of OMBI, a tool for lexical databases. In 1992-1996, she taught Dutch Studies at the University of Tartu and the Károli Gáspár Protestant University of Budapest and Estonian Language and Comparative Estonian-Hungarian Linguistics at the University of Szeged and ELTE in Budapest. In 2005, she defended her PhD in the Theoretical Linguistics Program of ELTE University (Budapest), with a dissertation on Relations between Estonian verbs, aspect, and case. Her academic research interests are interfaces, lexical semantics, syntax, modern bilingual lexicography, and bilingualism. She has participated in Dutch-Estonian bilingual lexicography projects and in research projects in Estonian and Hungarian theoretical and computational linguistics (TAM categories, case, Estonian verb classes, Hungarian adverbs, Hungarian speech synthesis).

- Componente del gruppo di ricerca su un Progetto sperimentale di formazione interculturale plurilinguistica specifica per la ‘nuova Europa’, da realizzare nell’ambito di una Rete Comenius, in collaborazione fra un Istituto scolastico di Firenze, istituti scolastici italo-ungheresi, ungheresi-danubiani, italo-finlandesi e italo-estoni, diretto dalla Prof. Beatrice Töttössy. In fase di elaborazione.
